Subject: Change Request – Saved View / Filter Functionality in Work Management Module

Dear Fracttal Support Team,

I trust you are well.

I would like to submit a change request regarding the filtering functionality within the Work Management module.

Currently, the Assets module allows users to create and save custom filter views. However, this functionality is not available in the Work Management module. This limitation creates inefficiencies, particularly for clients who require users (e.g., Technicians) to only view Work Orders relevant to their specific work type or discipline (such as Operations, Mechanical, etc.).

At present, user visibility in Fracttal can only be restricted by location, not by work group, discipline, or work type. As a result, users are required to manually apply filters each time they log into the system in order to see only the Work Orders relevant to them.

Requested Enhancement:
We request the implementation of a “Saved View” or “Saved Filter” functionality within the Work Management module, similar to what is currently available in the Assets module.

Expected Outcome:

• Users can create and save personalized filter views based on criteria such as Work Type, Discipline, or other relevant fields.

• Saved views can be automatically applied upon login or easily selected.

• Improved user experience and efficiency by eliminating the need to recreate filters each session.

• Better alignment of visible Work Orders with user roles and responsibilities.

Business Impact:
This enhancement will significantly improve usability for clients who manage multiple departments or disciplines within the same location. It will also reduce the risk of users interacting with irrelevant Work Orders and streamline daily operations.
